The International Charitable Foundation of Oleksandr Andriuk is a charitable organization that has been helping people in need and abandoned children since 2016. The Foundation was officially registered in 2017. The founder and head of the foundation, on a volunteer basis, is Oleksandr Andriuk.
The birth of charity and the creation of a family foundation were prompted by a personal tragedy in Oleksandr Andriuk’s family — after a tragic car accident and the death of his own brother and his 7-year-old niece.
In Oleksandr Andriuk’s own words
Our family lost people who were very close, painfully loved, and incredibly kind. My mission on this Earth is to do good, so that the Lord may set aside a place in Heaven for them.
My philosophy of charity is that every person deserves happiness. But all of us were born and raised in different conditions, and we have different opportunities and prospects. I have been luckier; someone else, less so. That is why I consider it my duty, through the means I have, to support people who, not of their own will, have found themselves in difficult situations. This inequality makes me wake up every morning and work even harder and keep moving forward. For me, charity is a symbiosis of something sacred that comes from the depths of the heart and a conscious choice in life. Doing good deeds without demanding anything in return, and without waiting for a “little plus in karma.” It is the duty of every person, and of me in particular, to support one another. I am convinced that charity, like happiness, loves silence. For a long time I helped relatives and acquaintances as far as my means allowed. But I came to the conclusion that this process needs to be streamlined and given system, clarity, and a prospect for development. Because many people want to help but do not know how. It was precisely this thought that prompted me to create the International Charitable Foundation. As they say in politics, the retinue makes the king; in the same way, my Foundation is impossible without a team of like-minded people, activists, and simply kind, caring people. Thanks to the team’s coordinated work, the support of friends, and financial participation in our campaigns and projects, we put the world around us in order and try to make it a little kinder — giving hope, helping people live, and saving lives.
